Missio Dei Primary School is a farm school near Ficksburg in the Thabo Mofutsanyana district of the Free State Province and provide a Christian-based education to children of farm workers from the surrounding farming communities. We aim to develop the child’s mind, body and soul in a balanced way and to raise children with a strong relationship with Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, to one day serve their communities as responsible citizens of good character and values.

The school has a vacancy for a teacher who can teach English Home Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language to grades 4 to 7. Applications for the vacant post are expected ONLY from qualified candidates who can start 12 January 2022. The following documents are needed:

• SACE registration.
• Competence in teaching learners with mixed abilities.
• Commitment to promoting and adhering to the school’s Christian values and ethos.
• Organisational, communication and interpersonal skills for learner-centred education.
• Ability to work in a team and participate in co-curricular activities.
• A clean record at the National Child Protection Register (NCPR).
• A clean record at the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
