Hafsat Ahmad Idris also known as Hafsat Idris (born 14 July 1987), is a Nigerian actress in the Kannywood Film industry. She is an indigene of Kano State, the northern part of Nigeria. But she was born and raised in Shagamu, Ogun State. Hafsat Idris is known for her debut and lead role in the movie Barauniya, which marked a turning point in her acting career. She was nominated as the most promising Kannywood actress of the year in 2017 by City People Movie Awards.
Hafsat Ahmad Idris begin her acting career in 2016 in the movie Barauniya, alongside Ali Nuhu. She joined kannywood industry after she tried her hand in business, travelling most of the time from Oshogbo to Kano for business purpose. However, despite doing better in business, Hafsat’s desire tilted towards becoming an actress. Hafsat also owns a film production company known as Ramlat Investment, she has produced numbers of movies in 2019 including blockbuster movie called Kawaye in which paraded stars such as Ali Nuhu, Sani Musa Danja and herself.
