*966# EazyBanking is a convenient, fast, secure, and affordable way to access your bank account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through your mobile phone without internet data.

This Mobile Banking service is available to all individual account holders with any phone that runs on the GSM platform.


Apart from a GSM phone, you will need airtime. There is no need for an internet connection.

The application is absolutely free. However, network charges apply.

All 15 retails account are eligible except domiciliary, ZECA and Premium (Gold and Platinum) accounts.

AlertZ is the transaction notification that Zenith Bank sends to a customer’s mobile number registered with the bank.

  1. Simply dial *966*00# with your AlertZ number
  2. You will be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your Debit (ATM) card number.
  3. The next page will display your Account Name and you will be prompted to create a 4 digit PIN
  4. Confirm the 4 digit PIN
  5. If successful, you will get a message “ Retrieving your balance “
  6. You will receive an SMS with the balances on all your accounts

PIN stands for Personal Identification Number. It is created at the point of registration and is used for authenticating transactions.

Debit cards (MasterCard or Visa)

The Zenith *966# EazyBanking is secure as it requires registration and PIN authentication on all your banking transactions.

No, registration is done with your GSM phone as long as you have a Zenith Bank debit card.

  • Cumulative transfer limit is N100,000 (One hundred thousand Naira) daily
  • Cumulative transaction limit on Airtime top-up is N3,000.00 (Three thousand Naira) daily.

No, it only works on GSM networks (Airtel, Glo, 9mobile and MTN).

Opening an account with Zenith Bank just got easier.

Simply dial *966*0# and follow the onscreen prompts. An account number will be created automatically and sent to you via SMS. Account opening forms are NOT required for the signup process. Once you sign up, look out for your ten-digit account number (NUBAN).

Check your account balance anywhere, anytime.

To check for balances on any of your accounts, all you need to do is simply dial; *966*00# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

Load airtime and data for self and others.

Simply dial *966*Amount*Mobile Number# on your phone (e.g. *966*1000*0803456789#) to buy airtime.

Transfer funds conveniently.

Dial *966*Amount*Account Number# (e.g. *966*1000*1234567890#) from the phone number you registered with Zenith Bank, then follow the on-screen prompts.

Pay DStv, PHCN and other Zenith Billers conveniently.

To pay your DStv and PHCN bills, simply dial; *966*7*Amount*Customer ID# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

To pay other Zenith Billers, simply dial; *966*6*Biller code*Amount# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

BVN uniquely identifies every customer.

Simply dial *966*BVN# to update your Bank Verification Number (BVN) using the number associated with your Zenith Bank account.


Mobile banking/USSD Password and PIN reset.

To do a reset, all you need to do is simply dial; *966*60# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.


Deactivate Mobile Banking Profile.

To deactivate your mobile banking profile, simply dial; *966*20*0# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.


Deactivate Your Account.


To stop all debit transactions from your account, simply dial; *966*911# from any mobile phone. Enter your account number then enter your AlertZ mobile number. Press “1” to continue and instantly block your account. To unblock your account, simply visit any Zenith Bank branch.

● Retrieve card PIN Dial *966*60# and select option 4.
● Block Card Dial *966*60# and select option 6.
● Manage cardless withdrawal To create and cancel a cardless withdrawal code, simply dial *966*60# and select the option 7.
● Select preferred USSD account to debit Simply dial *966*60# and select option 8 to choose your preferred USSD account to be debited for your USSD transactions.
● Perform transaction above N100k via USSD To perform transactions above N100,000. First dial *966*60# and then select option to sign indemnity.
● Activate Agent Banking activities i.e cash in and cash out Simply dial *966*66# and follow the on screen prompt.
● Perform USSD on POS To perform USSD on POS Transaction simply dial *966*000# and enter your POS Reference code.
