About the position:

Our aim is to provide learners with an active, engaging learning environment that is technology driven, student centered and geared towards the 2030 workplace Christel House SA is proud to be an official Microsoft Showcase School CHSA is looking for a Visual Arts Educator who has the ability to engage
fully with the spirit and ethos of Christel House South Africa The incumbent must be willing to assist in the character development of our Learners and be willing to adjust to the demands of the Christel House teaching and learning philosophy.

The candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Possess a recognised teaching qualification and/or an appropriate tertiary qualification majoring in Fine Art (painting drawing)
• Be in possession of a SACE registration certificate
• Have at least 3 years experience in teaching GET Creative Art from Grade 8 – 12
• Strong desire to achieve and maintain a high quality Visual Arts Programme
• Creative thinker with the ability to engage pupils across artistic mediums
• Be a dynamic, driven person with a desire for educational excellence
• Be willing to be part of a successful team and spearhead the Art Club (extra curricular)
• Eager and willing to embrace staff development

You will be required to showcase your portfolio and share your artistic talents should you be shortlisted to the interview stage
