Theodor Herzl Schools, established in 1959, is an independent, co-educational, English medium school in the leafy suburb of Walmer, Port Elizabeth. Due to the exciting expansion of our School, we seek to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and creative teacher of:

SENIOR MATHEMATICS (GRADES 8 – 12)
AND ADVANCED PROGRAMME MATHEMATICS (GRADE 10 – 12)

1 JANUARY 2022 (or by negotiation)

Theodor Herzl offers a broad-based inclusive and holistic education with involvement in extra-curricular activities a pre-requisite. All applicants should have the following:

• A relevant degree and a PGCE professional qualification
• Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A proven track record in High School education
• Understand, identify with and contribute to the ethos of Theodor Herzl
• Have sound computer skills and knowledge of and experience in integrating technology in the classroom
• Ability and willingness to coach sport, with a knowledge of and experience in boys’ sport advantageous
• SACE registration
• A Police Clearance Certificate and have and appropriate registration on the Sexual Offenders register.
