Sasol Internship Programme; Sasol – A South African-based international entity within the energy and chemical fields. It has been standing strong since 1950 and is known to be one of the biggest investors in skills development, research as well as technological advancements.
They offer a variety of excellent opportunities for those interested in improving their lives. If you are ambitious with a brilliant, young mind, they may have an opening for you. Their internship program is usually for a period of 12 months.
Most of their internship programs are held within Secunda, candidates, not from this area will have to relocate at their own costs. Permanent employment after completion is not guaranteed.

Sasol Internships Requirements
Applications are accepted yearly for a selection of internships to fill openings that may arise within Sasol. Most internships are open to candidates between 18 and 30 years of age, that are hungry for a growing opportunity.
Candidates will also be required to have the following:
- Candidates must hold a valid Matric certificate
- Candidates must be a South African citizen
- Candidates must hold a valid ID book/card
- Candidates with a degree or diploma within the selected discipline
- Candidates must be MS as well as computer literate
- Must be proficient in English (read, write & speak)
- Candidates must currently be unemployed for six months or longer
- Candidates must not have been employed for more than twelve months prior to application
- Candidates must not hold any kind of criminal record
More information will be made available to qualifying candidates, depending on the internship. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered. Ensure you attach all relevant certified documentation to your application, in addition to a curriculum vitae. The curriculum vitae should reflect your expertise and competencies along with your skills and interests.

The closing dates for internships differ, depending on the current needs of Sasol at the time. Most internships open during January and February, however, the closing dates range from the middle of the year to the end of each year. Be sure to check their home page regularly for such opportunities.
