ABOUT THE COMPANY – PSG
PSG is a top independent financial services group, who provide services such as financial planning, investments, unit trusts, stockbroking, life insurance, healthcare, estate and trust services, personal and commercial short term insurance. The company has been operating since 1998, and are present not only in South Africa but also in Mauritius and Namibia.
The companies services are split into 3 major categories: “PSG Insure” for commercial and personal short-term insurance; “PSG Wealth” for individual, family and business wealth management services; and “PSG Asset Management” for global funds, segregated portfolios and local unit trusts for individuals and institutions.

PSG are inviting students with strong academic records to apply for funding with their bursary programme, for the 2022 academic year.
Students who want to further their career in the financial services industry, and are pursuing degree qualifications (in final year/ Honours/ Masters), in these fields may apply:

MORE ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUE
The bursary will provide coverage of the following expenses: tuition fees, prescribed textbooks etc. Apart from the financial support, students will also receive the following:
- Mentoring, coaching and support
- Entrance into the PSG graduate programme
- Working experience within the financial services industry
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying towards a postgraduate degree qualification within one of the aforementioned fields of study (or in the final year of Engineering undergraduate degree)
- Must have achieved a good academic average
- Must be interested in pursuing a career in the financial services sector
- Must be ambitious
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be resilient
- Must be energetic
- Must be solution-oriented
- Must be able to work well in a team
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Preference will be given to students from designated groups
