Nsfas Bursary Agreement
Nsfas Bursary Agreement
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS) is responsible for allocating funds to qualifying students. The only students who have been approved will enter into a formal agreement with NSFAS. According to the agency selected students will not receive any money until the agreement is signed.
So how does it work?
1. Apply For Funding
If you meet the criteria for NSFAS funding you will need to apply for financial aid when the applications open.
Applications can be submitted online or manually.
2. Wait For Approval
Due to the number of applications received by NSFAS each year it can take some time for your application to be processed.
Once your application has been approved NSFAS will send a notification via email or SMS to confirm your beneficiary status.
This notification will direct you to the NSFAS website where you will be able to view your bursary agreement form.
3. Sign Agreement
Agreements are signed online.
In order to sign the agreement, you will have to log in to your NSFAS account through a one-time pin number.
You will then be instructed to check your details on the agreement and make sure the information is correct.
Once you have validated your details tick the ‘terms and conditions and declaration boxes.
After you click yes to the terms and conditions you will have completed the signing process.
