Application

Online Application is made available during the year. Candidates may be required to complete an online assessment, (this will take approximately 30 minutes) before starting the application process. There are some learnerships offered where the application forms can only be collected by an office of the department. Candidates can inquire at their campus careers center for open learnerships within the department, or at the department office closest to their home.

Most applications require a Z83 application form and it must be handed in with all required certified documentation. Candidates can download the form from their website. Please ensure the application is signed and completed in full. Incomplete forms, or forms missing attachments, will not even be considered. Faxed or e-mailed application will also be rejected, if forms have been collected at the office of the department within your area, it must be returned there. However, if you apply online you do not need to go to the office in your area.

Successful candidates will be informed within 3 weeks to 3 months after the closing date of the learnership. If you do not receive any form of communication, please deem your application as unsuccessful. For additional information, candidates may contact the helpdesk at 011  355 5463 or send an e-mail to Ouma.Ngobeni@gauteng.gov.za
