THE GET CURRICULUM FOR GRADES EIGHT AND NINE
- English Home Language
- Afrikaans First Additional Language or isiXhosa First Additional Language
- Mathematics
- Natural Sciences
- Economic Management Sciences
- Social Sciences
- Technology
- Creative Arts: Choice of two from Drama, Visual Arts and Music
- Life Orientation
In addition to this, pupils choose between French as Second Additional Language and isiXhosa as Second Additional Language.
There is also a Learner Support Programme for Mathematics in the school morning, and Language tutoring by teachers in the afternoons.

(NB Music ONLY if the pupil has completed Royal Schools /Trinity Grade 3 PRACTICAL & THEORETICAL)
- Physical Sciences and Accounting may only be taken with Mathematics
- The additional subjects of “Advanced Programme English” and “Advanced Programme Mathematics”, examined by the IEB, are offered.
- Girls may apply to take Dance Studies as an eighth subject
