Apostle Anselm Madubuko is the apostolic leader and founder of Revival Assembly Ministries International (The New Anointing) with the vision to raise a vibrant, dynamic, spirit-filled, mature and prosperous people.

Revival Assembly is one of the leading Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.

Early Life

Born on July 25, 1958, Anselm is a native of Orsumoghu in Ihiala local government area of Anambra State. He attended Government Secondary School, Afikpo and University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, where he studied Architecture.

After his graduation as an Architect in 1982, he came to Lagos for his NYSC and thereafter joined Tom Ikimi and Associates, an architectural firm owned by Nigeria’s former Minister of External Affairs, Chief Tom Ikimi. Initiated into the Lodge (by his late father) and Pyrates Confraternity (on his own), where he rose to become a capon, he had to abandon all that after he got born again on August 4, 1983.

He gave his life to Christ in August 1983 and was mentored and ordained by late Dr. Ibeneme.

Ministry

Called of God to reach out to the nations, Apostle Anselm Madubuko answered the call into full-time ministry in the year 1990 at age 33. Apostle Madubuko started Revival Assembly after due consultations.

Founded on 16th of December 1990 by the Apostle, the church was first sited on Oritshe Street in Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria, before it relocated to its permanent site at 1-7 Revival close, Cocoa Industries Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, on 2nd December, 1994.

The apostle is a revivalist and believes that saints should be revived, empowered, quickened and sent forth to change the spiritual landscape of their community or city and nation. This is one of the motivations that led him to start the annual revival program tagged AZUZA, a programme which has span for almost two decades.

His preaching cuts across denominational divides and he is keen on seeing people delivered and released to prosper and enjoy the abundant life promised by JESUS.

The apostle has a great passion for souls. This informed his 15 minutes Television broadcast tagged “souls, souls, Souls and more Souls”.

He is the author of DEVELOPING THE SPIRIT OF PRAYER, REVIVAL FIRE, OVERCOMING STAGNATION, HONOUR, RICHES AND LIFE, IMPARTATION AND APOSTOLIC GRACE, KEEPING FAITH and his latest addition, UNDERSTANDING KINGDOM FRUITFULNESS, He is also the publisher of THE RUNNERS BREAD (A DAILY DEVOTIONAL) English and Russian version, and many other unpublished works.

Apostle Anselm Madubuko was happily married to Pastor Connie until her death on Friday, July 6, 2012. The union is blessed with three children – Velma, Anselm, Jnr. and Sandra. The late Pastor Connie, a stylish and brutally frank woman of God, allegedly died from complications arising from a heart attack. From Umuodo, Ezi, in Ndokwa local government area of Delta State, her low cut, with a white patch at the centre, stood her out in any gathering.

He remarried a year after the death of his former wife. Apostle Anselm Madubuko and Emmy Kosgei, a Kenyan Gospel singer, got married on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at the Windsor Hotel and Golf Country Club, Nairobi. They also celebrated their thanksgiving at the head pastor’s church, Revival Assembly Ministry, Ogba on Sunday, September 15, 2013.

Pastor Emmy Kosgei Madubuko is a Kenyan born International Gospel Music Minister, award winner, peace and cultural ambassador and a philanthropist.
