AECOM has initiated a bursary programme for students within the Engineering and built environment field.

ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & SERVICE CONTRACT

AECOM bursaries will be awarded to black female students who are studying towards an Engineering degree qualification, at a South African tertiary institute. Students with a strong academic portfolio and a desire to succeed are given first preference.

On completion of their studies, students are NOT required to work for AECOM – ie. there is no service binding contract.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • South African citizen
  • In possession of a valid ID document
  • Black female student
  • Under 35 years old
  • Completed Matric
  • In possession of a National Senior Certificate
  • Currently studying within the Engineering field of study
  • Currently studying at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Have a good academic portfolio with a minimum overall average of 65%

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

  • ID document (certified copy of)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy of)
  • Full academic record (on tertiary letterhead)
  • Motivational letter
  • Any other qualifications/ certifications/ documents you feel would positively impact your application
