THE RESIDENCE
Montana Pretoria residence is situated in the heart of Pretoria North, an area boasting various shopping malls, schools and social facilities. There are three residence blocks: Musume, umSenge and Karee. You can hang out in the communal areas on each block of our residences and make use of the kitchenette for a relaxing coffee break. We also offer a fully-equipped self-service card operated laundry. Our residences boast under-cover parking to ensure that your first car is safe! In fact, our residence boasts all the amenities you require to have a comfortable home away from home.

BEDROOMS
Every bedroom has built-in cupboards, beds, chairs, desks, safe and en suite bathroom facilities. Your room will be serviced once a week.
You can personalise your space by bringing:
- Bar fridge not exceeding 80cm
- Radio
- Computers/laptops
- Electric fans
- Oil heaters
- Bedding (duvet, blankets, etc.)
We will ensure you have:
- Basic linen
- Access to Wi-Fi
- Fully equipped common areas
FOOD SERVICES
Montana has a restaurant and tuckshop, both of which offer quality food in relaxed environments. Our restaurant offers breakfasts and dinners 7 days a week as per the residence calendar. Our tuckshop offers snacks and fast food from 7.30 -16.30 on weekdays and 7.30-12.30 on Saturdays. Students can use their student cards to have meals at the restaurant and snacks at the tuckshop. You can book your meals at the restaurant in advance to be enjoyed during meal-times whilst the tuckshop is available anytime you feel peckish no booking required.
RESIDENCE STUDENT SUPPORT
House committee members are selected annually by the respective residence students. Their main duties are to represent students at the residence management meeting. They also assist new students with adjusting to academic and residence life and, as such, organise fun social, cultural and sporting activities.
SECURITY
Student and staff security is a priority for us. The campus buildings and residences are under guard 24 hours a day through a combination of biometric access control, CCTV monitoring, alarm systems and patrolling guards. Note that your student card is your passport to the campus. It allows one access to the campus, the residences and the library, and is to be used to check out library books, make photocopies, book meals, and purchase fast food.

PRIVATE RESIDENCE – BELLVILLE, CAPE TOWN
The Bellville campus residence life works to offer a positive living and learning environment in our residence. It is therefore definitely regarded as a very special experience. A residence is a community in which one meets a range of diverse students and forges life-long friendships. Student Residence Life at the residences strives to ensure a living and learning environment for all students and to promote a residence culture. Every effort is made to ensure that students’ residence life experience will foster their holistic development as well as being fully supportive of their academic programme.
The student residences can accommodate about 50 students in 4 different residences. These residences are all on the same residence ground. There is a central kitchen in each residence are 2 different outside communal areas with braai facilities.
BEDROOMS
Students have an option to choose between a Deluxe (Single room) and/or Leisure (Shared room).
Each room has built-in cupboards, blinds or curtains, beds and a chair. Rooms are cleaned once a week.
You can personalize your space by bringing:
- Bar fridge not exceeding (Height: 84cm x Width: 46cm x Depth: 50cm) T&C’s apply as per contract.
- Computer/laptops
- Electric fans
- Bedding (own linen, duvet, blankets etc.)
- Access to Wi-Fi (Provided by an external provider)
FOOD SERVICES
Ajman & Gallow residences’ does not offer any food services. However, each student house is equipped with a fully functional kitchen to prepare their own meals. This includes gas stoves, crockery, microwaves, kettles, toasters, and everything you require to cook your favourite meal.
RESIDENCE STUDENT SUPPORT
The hostel has a full-time Superintendent on duty and is supported by the Hostel Committee members. The Hostel Committee members are selected annually by the respective residence students. The main purpose of the council is to promote good relationships between all residents and to assist all.
PARKING
A shuttle service will be available for students without parking. A monthly fee is payable for transport to and from the hostel and campus. Refer to the Amja & Gallow contract for more information.
SECURITY
Student and staff security are our first priority. The campus building is under guard from 06h00 am – 06h00 pm (7 days a week). There is safe and secure parking inside the properties, electric fencing, and CCTV monitoring.
