Kumba Iron Ore is an exceptional mining company offering training and development opportunities to graduated students in the fields mentioned below. You will be on a contract basis take part in a well-developed structure training and development program for 24 months assisting you to register as a professional.

Requirements

• Engineering (x2) (Electrical & Mechanical): You will need to have S4 Diploma / NHD (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Geology (x1): You will need to have a BSc Degree or B-Tech Degree
• Mining Engineer (x1): You will need to have a National Diploma, B-Tech Degree or BSc Degree
• Finance (x1): You will need a National Diploma / B Tech Cost Management Accounting or in Accounting

You will need

To be analytical and pay attention to detail, have good verbal and written communication skills and be assertive. You need to be computer literate, be a team player and have good interpersonal skills.

Remuneration

The initial salary will be determined by Kumba Iron Ore Ltd. regulations.  These positions are Kumba Iron Ore x2 grading.

Additional Information

The conditions of services will be discussed before the commencement of training and development. Preference will be given to students from Northern Cape. Kumba Iron Ore shall apply the affirmative action principles as set out in the company’s Employment Equity policy.
